We’ll help you pour your paint.
Sit, relax, paint, and create!
*Note that to get a consistent coat, you’ll want to use THREE coats of paint.
Our Process
When your piece is all set, we are ready to dip and bake.
We bake each piece in the art oven or kiln onsite.
This takes 24 hours at a very HOT temperature.
Once pieces are ready, we wrap, text, and share your Mudroom treasure!
What if I don’t finish my pottery in one sitting?
If you do not finish, you can come back free of charge to finish your piece.
What is the studio fee?
The studio fee includes all of the materials and the firing of your piece.
How much does it cost?
Studio fees are $7 per artist
Pieces range from $8-$45
Can I use the kitchen items?
Yes, all of the glazes are non-toxic and food safe.
Can I put the pieces in the microwave and dishwasher?
Yes, we do have a disclaimer that your piece could be damaged by the microwave or dishwasher.
Do I need an appointment?
No appointments are necessary. Reservations are recommended for larger groups and parties.
How old to you need to be to paint?
Painting is fun for all ages. We can assist you in doing baby hand and foot prints, as well as your pet. Make and Takes are perfect for toddlers and big kids too!
How long does it take to get our projects back?
A week, unless you have time constraints, and we will do what we can to help speed up the firing process.
What kinds of payments do you accept?
We take cash, check and all major credit cards.
Can I bring in food and drink?
The studio is BYOB…. Feel free to bring anything you’d like.
What happens if something breaks?
Art is a process from start to finish! At Mudroom Studio, we believe in the creative process and providing a space that allows for expression. There are times that OOPS or mistakes happen along the way. We invite you to return as a guest painter OR will send along a TO GO kit for painting at home. The OOPS is on us!
